Composting

We are passionate about waste reduction and composting! 

The Moon operates a small cafe garden and composting facility in Aiken, SC. 

We collect our spent coffee grounds, food scraps and brown paper. These waste products are composted and turned into soil that is used in the cafe garden.

Since the launch of our composting garden in 2019, we have diverted over 50 tons of waste from the local landfill!
