DR Congo, FTO SOPACDI Pygmies' coffee project

Introducing a lovely new coffee we snagged from @cafeimports from the  Democratic Republic of the Congo

With notes of cucumber & green tea, we think this coffee is unlike anything we currently have on our shelves.

On top of having a unique flavor profile, this coffee stands out due to the special program it’s attached to. SOPACDI is a Cooperative with many projects, but this one specifically is designed to support Pygmy peoples in this area. Historically this group of people have faced discrimination, and now Cooperatives such as SOPACDI are helping them take a stand to preserve their culture and give these hard working farmers a chance to gain better income, and finical independence. On top of it, women farmers are also highlighted with this project, a stance very near and dear to our hearts!
